Perfecting holiness in the sight of God and man.

Our History

TIMES OF REFRESHING MINISTRIES began in 1992 when the Holy Spirit led Pastor Ron to begin producing a weekly one-hour TV program called "Times of Refreshing and Restoration". Pastor Ron & Pastor Chris soon began producing a variety of Christian programming for PCTV Channel 21. These programs included: "The Sound of Many Waters", Contemporary Christian Gospel" and "A Different Point of View".

The ministry held its first public service in Pittsburgh on June 2, 1998... "Celebrate The Ministry". The ministry began regular Sunday morning worship services on December 3, 2000. God burned Acts 3: 19-21 into Pastor Roston's spirit and the message of man's need for REPENTANCE & CONVERSION as a condition for mankind to receive the times of refreshing that shall come from the presence of the Lord.

As they moved out in obedience to God's mandate to "preach out" a church, Pastors Ron & Chris received God's approval and confirmation through various Bishops, Apostles, Prophets, and Pastors. Their ministry was prophesied to receive a double anointing, as long as they remained humble and obedient to God. Just as God anointed the TV ministry of TIMES OF REFRESHING AND RESTORATION, His continued presence was earnestly sought during our worship services in order to deliver and empower you, His people.

They organized an International Apostolic Network in 2003, known as ROMI (Restoration Oasis Ministries International). In 2004 they provided School of Ministry curriculum to pastors in the Philippines. The ministry conducted a nine-day summit in London, England in 2005.  In 2006, TRM/ROMI conducted a twenty-one-day Apostolic Summit in Nigeria and Benin Republic, West Africa. During a two-day minister's conference in Lagos, TRM/ROMI consecrated LaCreece C. Roston to the Office of Apostle in 2006.  During that Apostolic Summit, TRM/ROMI consecrated and installed two Regional Directors, one in Nigeria and one in Benin.

The ministry ordained Jamar Suber to gospel ministry in 2009.  The ministry ordained Brian Wright Sr. to gospel ministry in 2010.  TRM/ROMI consecrated Larry Barkley to the Bishopric in 2011.   The ministry consecrated Albert Scales as Apostle in 2013.  TRM/ROMI ordained Abdul Zibiri to gospel ministry in 2013.  The ministry provided a complete School of Ministry curriculum to Potter's House Fellowship Alliance-Pittsburgh, PA in 2013.  TRM/ROMI consecrated Clyde Roston, father of Bishop Ronald Roston, to the Bishopric in 2013.  The ministry conducted a nine-day campaign in Cote d'Ivoire in 2014. During the 2014 Cote d'Ivoire campaign, TRM/ROMI consecrated Paul Simplice Apostle and Bishop. The ministry provided School of Ministry curriculum to Mission Internationale d'Évangélisation-Cote d’Ivoire in 2014. The ministry ordained Elliott Hampton to gospel ministry in 2017.  TRM/ROMI consecrated Jamar Suber to the Bishopric in 2021.  TRM/ROMI provided School of Ministry curriculum to Complete Vision Ministries-Jacksonville, FL in 2021.  TRM/ROMI organized Apostolic Kingdom Covenant Alliance in 2021.  In 2022, TRM/ROMI elected and consecrated Apostle LaCreece C. Roston to the Bishopric.

Next Step Video Productions - TV
       Times of Refreshing and Restoration

NEXT STEP VIDEO PRODUCTIONS is the segment of ministry dedicated to producing TV and internet programs.  It is the media arm of TRM/ROMI.  It was established in 1992 when the Holy Spirit led Pastor Ron to begin producing Christian programming.  The first production was a weekly one-hour TV program called "Times of Refreshing and Restoration".  It is still the flagship program.  The Holy Spirit was and is listed as the Executive Producer on every program.  Bishop Ron is the producer of "Times of Refreshing and Restoration".  Initially, it only featured Pastor Ron and Pastor Chris as the on-camera participants.  Currently, it includes Brother Keith Cash and Rev. Elliott Hampton as panelists, along with Bishop Ron and Bishop Chris.

Pastor Ron & Pastor Chris soon began producing a variety of Christian programming for PCTV Channel 21, the community access station in Pittsburgh, PA.   The first of these one-hour programs were called "A Different Point of View".  This program was produced and hosted by Pastor Chris.   It was developed as a by-product of a segment Pastor Chris did for "Times of Refreshing and Restoration" called "Chris' Corner".  This program included guest participants, panel discussions, and broadcasting of community events.

The next program Next Step produced was titled "The Sound of Many Waters".  It was produced by Pastor Chris and hosted by Mr. Irvin Brently and Ms. Kimberly Carter.  It was a music video program of live recordings of local choirs and musical talents.  It was taped by      our videographers and edited by Pastor Ron.

The last program was titled "Contemporary Christian Gospel".  It was produced by Pastor Ron and hosted by Pastor Chris.  It was a music video program of national choirs and musical talents. It was comprised of music videos provide to Next Step by the national record companies. It was edited by Pastor Ron.

Although "Times of Refreshing and Restoration" is the only program currently being produced, the experience of producing such an assortment of programming has impacted the manner in which the program is produced.  In addition to being a videographer, Bishop Roston is also a video editor.  The goal of Next Step Video Productions is to exhibit and maintain 'excellence in programming'.

About us

We are an interdenominational end-times ministry.

"Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord. And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you. Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began."
